“Know your true cost per pound, every time”

A community-driven web application that helps fishers, processors, and seafood businesses accurately determine cost per pound of finished products. Covers 60+ fish and shellfish species with flexible conversions between processing states (whole, dressed, fillets, portions). Factors in processing fees, cold storage, and shipping costs. Yield data sourced from 'Recoveries and Yields from Pacific Fish and Shellfish' (Alaska Sea Grant, 2004).

“Wild Alaskan seafood, direct to Western New York”

A direct-to-consumer seafood company bringing wild-caught Alaskan fish to Western New York. Every fish is caught by hand using jig, line, and hook-and-line methods by independent small-boat fishermen in Alaska. The operation handles the full supply chain — from catch to cold storage to local delivery and UPS ground shipping — cutting out the commodity middlemen who obscure where your fish comes from.

“Where good food finds you — local ingredients, delivered”

A local food delivery platform connecting home cooks with fresh ingredients from their community. Users build recipes in-app, select ingredients sourced from local food hubs, farmers, and sellers, and receive home delivery via a dedicated driver network. Built in partnership with Orbitist and Fresh Fix to create a hyper-local food marketplace. Available on web, iOS, and Android.

“Operations hub for small-boat seafood businesses”

A cross-platform business management suite for small-scale seafood operations. Built as a monorepo with a Next.js web app, React Native mobile app via Expo, and an Express backend with Prisma ORM. Includes a shared UI component library and handles inventory tracking across species and product forms, order management, customer relationships, and yield analytics.

“Voice-powered food safety and inventory management”

A voice-enabled inventory management and HACCP compliance tool for seafood operations. Uses Google Generative AI for natural language voice commands — speak to log temperatures, update inventory counts, and record compliance events. Built with React and Firebase for real-time data sync across devices, with spreadsheet export for integration with existing workflows.
